Maurten Drink Mix 320 CAF 100 is a high-carbohydrate sports drink developed for demanding training sessions and endurance events. When mixed with 500ml of water, each sachet delivers 80g of carbohydrates, 100mg of caffeine and approximately 320 calories.
The formula combines Maurten’s patented Hydrogel Technology with a concentrated carbohydrate and caffeine supply. It is designed for athletes who need to maintain energy intake and alertness during prolonged or high-intensity exercise—without added flavours, colours, preservatives or sweeteners.

Hydrogel Technology
When Drink Mix 320 CAF 100 reaches the acidic environment of the stomach, sodium alginate and pectin form a hydrogel. This structure encapsulates the carbohydrates and caffeine before carrying them through the stomach towards the intestine, where they can be absorbed.
Maurten developed this delivery system to help athletes consume a concentrated carbohydrate drink while reducing the sensation of liquid moving or sloshing in the stomach.

The ingredients used are vegan and certified free from common allergens. However, the finished product is not officially certified as vegan or gluten-free.
Suggested Use
To prepare one serving:
- Fill a clean bottle with 500ml of water.
- Use water containing no more than 80mg of calcium per litre.
- Pour the entire 83g sachet onto the water.
- Shake vigorously until the powder has completely dissolved and no lumps remain.
Use before, during or after training according to your individual fuelling strategy. Once prepared, consume within 24 hours and refrigerate if not used immediately.
For the hydrogel system to function as intended, mix the product only with the recommended quantity and quality of water. Avoid adding extra electrolyte products directly to the drink, as minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium may interfere with hydrogel formation.
