Maurten Additions are flavour sachets developed to add a personalised taste to Maurten Drink Mix 160, Drink Mix 320 or Gel Mix 480 without affecting the function of Maurten’s Hydrogel Technology.
Repeated use of the same sports-fuel taste during long training sessions and races can lead to flavour fatigue. Additions allow athletes to change the taste of their Maurten fuel while maintaining their planned carbohydrate intake and fuelling strategy.
Each box contains six individual 2 g sachets. Choose from Orange, Apple, Cola or Menthol according to your personal preference.

Suggested Use
Prepare Maurten Drink Mix 160, Drink Mix 320, Drink Mix 320 CAF 100 or Gel Mix 480 according to the product’s instructions.

- Prepare the selected Maurten Drink Mix or Gel Mix.
- Make sure the base powder is completely dissolved.
- Add one preferred Additions sachet.
- Shake thoroughly to combine.
- Consume as part of your planned fuelling strategy.
One Additions sachet is designed for use with one serving of a compatible Maurten product. You may use less according to your taste preference, but reseal any remaining powder carefully to protect it from moisture.
Important Information
Maurten Additions are designed to provide flavour and are not a standalone carbohydrate-fuelling product.
They may be added to plain water, but Maurten explains that the flavour will be much less noticeable because Additions are formulated to work with the natural sweetness of Drink Mix or Gel Mix.
