Designed for Endurance Fuelling

Maurten Drink Mix products are normally formulated around 500ml of water per sachet. The larger 750ml bottle gives cyclists and triathletes greater flexibility when planning hydration and carbohydrate intake.

According to Maurten, two 750ml bottles provide a total of 1.5 litres of fluid, corresponding to three Drink Mix sachets divided equally between the two bottles.

Athletes may also prepare a more concentrated drink by mixing two Maurten Drink Mix sachets with 750ml of water. This creates a higher carbohydrate concentration and provides more carbohydrates with each sip. Maurten recommends testing this approach during training to assess personal tolerance and comfort before using it in competition.

Suggested Use

For standard hydration, fill the bottle with water or your preferred sports drink. When preparing Maurten Drink Mix, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and measure the water and powder carefully.

For longer cycling or triathlon sessions, the bottle may be used individually or as part of a two-bottle fuelling strategy. Any concentrated Drink Mix preparation should first be tested during training.

Cleaning and Care

Wash the bottle after every use. The bottle is dishwasher-safe at a maximum temperature of 40°C.

Clean the bottle, cap and mouthpiece thoroughly, then allow every component to dry completely before storage.
