Olimp Gold Vit D3 Baby
Olimp Gold-Vit D3 Baby is a dietary food for special medical purposes. The preparation contains vitamin D, necessary for proper growth and development of children’s bones and mineralisation of teeth. Furthermore, vitamin D helps to maintain an adequate level of calcium in the bloodstream and promotes proper absorption/use of calcium and phosphorus. The quantities of vitamin D produced as a result of endogenous synthesis are subjected to considerable fluctuations depending on the exposure to sunlight; therefore, its supply is limited, in particular in autumn and winter.
Epidemiological research shows that the deficiency of vitamin D is common both in Poland and in other Central European countries. In accordance with the Experts’ recommendations, vitamin D should be administered from the first days of life, regardless of the feeding regime of the newborn (breast milk, modified milk)*. The Gold-Vit® D3 Baby preparation ensures that the child’s demand for vitamin D in accordance with such guidelines is fully satisfied.
Ingredients:
Oil with medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), cholecalciferol – vitamin D3, capsule shell (gelatin, humectant – glycerol).
Purpose
The preparation is intended for the dietary management of newborns (including pre-term newborns), regardless of their feeding regime, beginning on the first day of life up to 12 months of age, and of infants up to 12 months of age, and is used as prophylaxis for rickets, as well as during the risk of vitamin D deficiency.
Dosage
Dosage: content of 1 twist-off capsule per day (400 IU of vitamin D3) or other dosage recommended by a physician.
Directions for use:
Administer the product during a meal. Twist and pull off the tip of the capsule. In case of difficulties with opening the capsule, cut off the tip. Squeeze the contents of the capsule directly into the baby’s mouth, onto a spoon or into the meal (e.g. squeezed breast milk or baby cereal). Throw away the capsule. Make sure that the capsule is not swallowed by the baby
